MoreSound Intelligence 2.0 scans the sound scene 500 times each and every second to precisely analyse all sounds from all directions. Once the sounds are analysed the onboard Deep Neural Network (DNN) then processes the sounds, to automatically highlight speech and other meaningful sounds while reducing non-important signals such as noise.

Furthermore the DNN has been trained with 12 Million sounds samples recorded from real environments which allows the Oticon Real hearing aids to automatically and accurately identify and balance those sounds.

Disruptive, sudden sounds are all around us. Coffee machines at the cafe, slamming doors, dishes and cutlery over a dinner table, tapping on a keyboard to name a few. They can occur thousands of times each day. The task of a hearing aid is to make those audible without being disruptive.

The new SuddenSound Stabilizer in Oticon Real can handle 500,000 sudden sounds each and every day. SuddenSound Stabilizer is fast enough to instantly detect the onset of a sudden sound without compromising the audibility of speech that may be occurring at the same time eg during a dinner party.

Walking on the beach, playing a round of golf, walking down a windy street to the office. The real world is windy. In addition when your hands, hair or glasses touch the hearing aid this can also cause unpleasant sounds that can interfer with hearing what you really need to.

But the new Wind & Handling Stabilizer feature in Oticon Real detects and minimises wind and handling noise 500 times per second ensuring you can follow conversations even under difficult conditions.

Oticon Real is available as a fully rechargeable hearing aid system using reliable and stable Lithium-Ion technology.

Simply charge the Oticon Real hearing aids each night when you remove the hearing aids for bed, and wake to a full charge to enable 16hours of usage. In fact, the system is fully charged after only 3 hours, and if you forget to charge overnight a quick 30 minute charge will allow 6 hours of use.

Oticon Real is available with two different chargers: the standard desktop charger or the optional SmartCharger with a built-in battery pack.

Oticon Real is a Made for iPhone hearing aid, which enables hands free phone calls on iPhones and iPad  and direct audio streaming of video or Facetime calls on  iPhone and iPad.

Oticon real is also compatible with Android devices that use the ASHA protocol allowing you to stream audio directly from your Android device.

And with Oticon’s optional TV Adapter, you can even stream sound directly from your TV.

 Oticon ConnectClip

With the recent increase in video conferencing, with the Oticon ConnectClip accessory, you can stream high quality sound to your Oticon Real hearing aids from your Bluetooth enabled PC, or computer.

Oticon Companion App – your all in one solution

The new Oticon Companion App allows you to seamlessly and discreetly control your hearing aids. You can adjust volume, change listening programs, access user instructions, check battery status or even use the ‘find my hearing aid’ feature if you happen to misplace your hearing aids.

The Oticon Companion app also is the interface for remote counselling from your audiologist if you are unable to attend an in-person consultation

TV Adaptor 3.0

TV Adapter 3.0 enables users of Oticon Real to wirelessly stream the sound from their TV or home entertainment system directly to their hearing aids. Users can set the volume to their preferred level, while keeping the TV volume comfortable for others in the room, and enjoy a quality listening experience free from the distraction of surrounding noise.

Remote Control

If you do not have an iPhone to use the Oticon ON app, you can still discreetly regulate the colume, change programs or simply turn off your hearing aids with the very handy remote control from Oticon.
